Adolescents and young people in Tanzania's Southern Highlands are served by a crowded field of HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health programmes run by government, donors and civil society. What was missing was a clear account of who was doing what, where, and for whom.
For UNICEF, UPC mapped the interventions reaching young people across the region and assessed how well they matched need, examining coverage, gaps, duplication and the barriers that keep young people away from services designed for them.
