PlayMatters works to bring learning through play into early childhood and primary education in East Africa. Measuring what a programme like that changes depends on knowing where it started.
UPC delivered the Tanzania baseline, establishing how learning through play was understood and practised in participating early childhood centres and primary schools before the programme began, and what teachers, children and caregivers were bringing to it.
